About Us
Established in 2017, A Breath of Hope, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving families across Southeastern Wisconsin and Illinois. The organization is grounded in a strong commitment to improving health outcomes through education, advocacy, and supportive services that address the needs of at-risk individuals and underserved populations. Its work focuses on reducing health disparities and strengthening the connection between families and healthcare systems through accessible, community-based programming.
Our Founder & Executive Director
Preneice G. Love, MSN, RN, CLC, MBA
The Founder and Executive Director of A Breath of Hope, Inc. She is a nurse leader, Certified Lactation Counselor, asthma educator, and Health and Safety Instructor with extensive clinical and lived experience supporting families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and is a Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong foundation in women’s health, infant feeding, and family-centered care.
Her professional background includes a strong nursing foundation along with experience as an asthma educator and Health and Safety Instructor, providing CPR training, emergency preparedness education, and chronic disease management support for families and community members.
Her work is deeply informed by lived experiences with both asthma and breastfeeding, including her journey as a mother and NICU mother. These experiences strengthen her ability to provide compassionate, realistic, and supportive care to families facing similar challenges.
She is also a passionate advocate for alopecia awareness and empowerment, supporting initiatives that promote education, confidence, and community support.
Above all, Preneice is guided by her love for her husband, children, and her strong belief in the importance of family, health, and community. She is committed to helping families feel supported, informed, and empowered through every stage of care

Under the leadership of Preneice G. Love, A Breath of Hope, Inc. integrates clinical expertise, lived experience, and community engagement to advance maternal and child health and saftey as well as chronic disease education across Southeastern Wisconsin and Illinois.
